This week Nick is recovering from knee surgery, which just means getting a little more creative with how to pay it forward!
Did you know you can give someone a gift card through Facebook?
In this video, Nick explains how to give a gift on Facebook to someone else, which is exactly what he is going to do to Pay it Forward today (which happens to be Valentine’s Day!).
Five Facebook gifts will be given out to five lucky recipients! Woo hoo!
All you have to do is log into your Facebook account, select the person you wish to give a gift to, and right next to the button where you would click to send them a personal message, there is a little button icon that looks like a gear.
Simply click the gear icon, and from the drop down menu, select “Give Gift”.
Then, on the following screen, choose from one of the available options like a Starbucks gift card or a Target card, pick the dollar amount, then you’ll be prompted to pick an eCard to give them, and finally review and complete your order!
Now that you know how to give a gift on Facebook, it’s THAT easy to put a smile on someone else’s face, and also put a smile on your own knowing you made someone else happy!
Keep paying it forward and making giving to others won’t be something you have to remember to do, it will soon just a part of what you do and how you live.
